Facebook is a crack up. You have to admit there are some pretty funny videos out there. Robbie showed me one today that was super duper hilarious. The video was of a small boy, I don’t know, but I think he was around 3 or 4 years old. And he was begging his mother for some of that Hershey’s unsweetened baking chocolate. You know, the kind that taste like horse manure. Now I don’t know how you feel about that, but it seems to me that’s pretty close to child abuse.
I mean really, any kid that sees that can is going to want some of that like right now. I am a grown man, and when I see that package I’m thinking give that to me now and nobody will get hurt. Am I right? So finally, the mom gives in and lets the kid have some. Of course, the boy gagged on it, powder form smoke spewed from his mouth as well as his nose. He looked like a chocolate breathing dragon. Oh my! His face had that sick feeling look that any kid gets when your mom tells you your Disneyland vacation is over and it’s time to go home.
That was funny. Let me tell you something that’s not so funny. We have an enemy and he will dress up a package that looks like the real McCoy on the outside, but on the inside is extreme disappointment and bitterness. There have been many that have opened up his packages and tasted and the results were devastating.
What have been some of the enemy’s packages?
Have you ever noticed how alcohol is nicely packaged these days? It’s very appealing to look at. Yet it has wounded and hurt many people. How about the way tobacco products are packaged, or how pornography is packaged? My point is, it looks good on the outside, but once you consume it, you will be heading down a road that only has a dead end. Remember that the package is not always what it looks like.
